Our Story
A Family Business Built on Trust & Expertise
Established in 1980 and still family run, Garage Door Automation (Potters Bar) Ltd has built a reputation for honest advice, quality workmanship and fair prices across Hertfordshire and North London. More than 22,000 customers have had a door from us, or had one fixed by us, in that time.
The business is run by Barry Jones, and he is more often than not the person who answers the phone. He would rather talk you through a fix than sell you a visit, and a good many calls end with the problem solved and nothing to pay. That is what keeps people coming back, and sending their neighbours.
We are official agents for Hormann, Garador and Cedar Doors, and for Wessex and Seip, and we carry stock for a fast turnaround, so you do not have to wait weeks for a door to arrive.
