Hormann is a German family owned manufacturer founded in 1935, and it is the largest maker of garage doors in Europe. If you have seen a modern automated door that runs quietly and closes onto a neat seal, there is a fair chance it was a Hormann.

Our standard automation choice. Enclosed tooth belt drive, 24v DC motor, soft start and soft stop, safety reverse, from £360 + VAT.
Supramatic operator
The step up. Extra motor power and noticeably faster travel, which suits larger or heavier doors. From £410 + VAT.
Finishes
Plain colours plus wood effect laminates that hold up outdoors far better than a painted timber door.
Insulation
Sectional models use insulated panels, worth having if the garage is attached to the house or used as a workshop.
